Always place the candle on a heat-resistant, flat surface when in use, and do not leave it unattended while burning.
Do not use near flammable materials such as curtains or paper.
Trimming the wick before lighting will prevent soot and excessive flame size.

Yes. If you light the candle with a long wick, the flame may become too large or produce more soot.
If the flame becomes too large, extinguish the candle and trim the wick to 3-5mm.
